After the most ruthless massacre that took place at two mosques in New Zealand’s city, Christchurch on March 15, it is but natural for the Muslim Community to feel concerned, and somewhat  shaken too. Efforts were made to bring all the concerns of the Muslim Community to the notice of  local authorities, especially to the notice of the Police Chief. Mr. T. Brooks.we are greatly encouraged and feel very consoled and reassured when the Police Chief, on his own called me and assured me that he fully understands and appreciates our apprehensions, and that he has already allocated special extra patrol for Fridays and Sundays.

This meeting is called upon to let you know that the Police Chief, Mr. T. Brooks, city Council member Ms. Lori, local church leaders, especially our friend Rev. Will. McGarvey, Mr. Terence Clark,  and our friend, Dr. Nazeer Ahmed, and many others shall personally be coming in this meeting and shall share their feelings related to this great tragedy.

You all are requested to please come by 5:15 p.m., as the  guests shall start coming by 5:30 p.m. Please find time for this important meeting which concerns us all.

Yours truly,

Mohammad A Chaudhry
