Postponed again…  At least he is in Federal Custody.

Dear Community Leaders and Friends,

As many of you know, Concord Police arrested Ross Farca (see article here) in June on criminal threats and illegal weapons charges after he posted online comments about targeting Jews and responding police officers in a mass shooting, possessing an assault rifle, and being inspired by the Poway and Christchurch attacks.

The Contra Costa District Attorney formally charged Farca with three felony counts, and a Gun Violence Restraining Order against him remains in place.

Farca’s next court appearance will be a rescheduling of his Preliminary Hearing:

Time:             8:45 am
Location:      Superior Court of Contra Costa County, Department 6, The Honorable Teresa Canepa, 1020 Ward Street, Martinez
Parking:        There is street parking in the area.

At this hearing, the Court will determine whether there is sufficient evidence for the case against him to proceed.  This hearing is open to the public, and we encourage you and your members to consider attending to help demonstrate the interest and concern of the Jewish community and our allies.
