Members of our faith community will construct a Tabernacle replica next to our chapel at 2350 Jeffrey Way in Brentwood. This will be nearly identical to the Tabernacle or Tent of Meeting that God commanded the prophet Moses and the children of Israel to build as recorded in the Old Testament (specifically Exodus chapters 25-30). You can view the actual Tabernacle we will be constructing here: https://tinyurl.com/tabernaclevideo.

I love what the Lord told Moses when He commanded him and the Israelites to build the Tabernacle: “And let them make me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them” (Exodus 25:8).

I know that each of us believes in sacred spaces where God can and does manifest Himself to us, and that He still desires to dwell with us during our mortal journeys. Isn’t this one of the reasons why we build churches, synagogues, temples, and other sacred spaces and places of worship?

As you can see from the flyer above, we invite the public to tour the Tabernacle starting on Sunday, October 14th, at 3:00 pm. There is no cost and no invitation is required to participate. Guided tours will be held on the weekends (October 14th, October 20th—21st) and during the weekday evenings from 5:00 to 9:00 pm October 15th—19th. Self-guided tours are available from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm Mondaythrough Friday, October 15th—19th.
