2020 Interfaith Council Retreats at San Damiano!  Spirituality of Honoring and Protecting Mother Earth.

First in a 2020 series of four quarterly retreats for everyone, from students to older people of any particular faith or life philosophy, to those with an Interfaith spirituality.

February 23rd Retreat Leaders are Skylar Wilson and Jen Listug, co-authors (with Matthew Fox) of the Order of the Sacred Earth.

Sunday, February 23rd from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at San Damiano Retreat Center, 710 Highland Dr., Danville $25-50 sliding scale.

Give yourself a break! Come to San Damiano Franciscan Retreat Center in Danville for an afternoon of conversation, art, silence, music, gardening, journaling, ritual and sharing spiritual practices from different faith traditions.

All are invited to participate. Handouts are included in the fee. Books will be available at the event. Sliding scale and scholarships available for the regular program. Second Retreat on May 3rd:

Jennifer Listug & Skylar Wilson continue the series with Part 2 of their retreats on the Order of the Sacred Earth. Future readings will be shared at the first retreat, and in subsequent flyers. The book is a wonderful anthology of multiple authors.

Third Retreat on July 26th:

Led by Phillip Scott of Ancestral Voices leading us in Native American thought and rituals.

Fourth Retreat on October 18th:

Led by Rev. Kristin Powell from Unity Walnut Creek leading us in New Thought ways of creation care.

Phillip Scott will also be leading a retreat on Sunday, Feb. 9th from 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm called “Ceremonial Honoring of the Full Moon and Connection with our Earth Mother,” at East County Shared Ministry, 200 E. Leland Rd., Pittsburg, in the
