On Friday, October 27th, we are thrilled to invite the multi-faith community to Temple Isaiah for a special evening addressing “Our Shared Commitment to Preserve Religious Freedom in the United States.”

Temple Isaiah is honored to host Scholar-in-Residence, Rabbi David Saperstein, an American rabbi, lawyer, Jewish community leader and former United States Ambassador at Large for International Religious Freedom under the Obama administration. He served as the director and chief legal counsel at the Union for Reform Judaism’s Religious Action Center for more than 30 years.

This inspirational evening will begin at 6:15 with a Multi-Faith Community Potluck and an opportunity get to know other members of the multi-faith community.  Please sign up on the sign-up genius with a dish to share if you plan to attend.

At 7:30, we will join together in the sanctuary for an inspiring Shabbat service with Rabbi Saperstein.  Following the service there will be a dessert Oneg hosted by the Temple Isaiah Religious Freedom/Tolerance committee.
