Nav Durga, the Goddess and the Divine Feminine
Sunday, March 25th at 5:30 pm.
Mt. Diablo Unitarian Universalist Church
55 Eckley Lane, Walnut Creek

Not all religious or philosophical traditions have Goddesses, as Hinduism celebrates during Nav Durga, but many include feminine faces of the divine in metaphor, legend or myth.  Come hear a panel with practitioners of diverse religious paths discuss what the Divine Feminine looks like to them.

Speakers:

Satya Kalra, Path to Anandam, Danville
Felicity Grove, Covenant of the Goddess, Pleasant Hill
Sara Blackstock, Urantia Tradition, Rossmoor
Gwen Watson, Christ the King Catholic, Mary Magdalen Service, Pleasant Hill
Hazzan Risa Wallach, Congregation B’nai Shalom, Walnut Creek
Max Dachu, Pagan Scholar on the Goddess, Berkeley

If you have an image, statue or article to contribute to the altar, please do bring it with a small card describing them.

Panel conversation begins at 5:30 pm in the Sanctuary followed by snacks and fellowship.  Please bring a snack or beverage to share.
