Green The Church is a national organization that empowers people of all faiths to be leaders in caring for the Earth. We provide resources to educate, connect, and advocate for healthier communities. Last year’s summit in Charlotte, NC brought together hundreds of environmental activists who learned tools to make changes in their faith communities and beyond.

This year’s Green The Church Summit offers a unique opportunity to connect with faith leaders and others concerned about climate change, poverty, and pollution. We will learn to work together to create an equitable green economy and ensure a sustainable planet. We anticipate an audience consisting of Green The Church affiliates, concerned clergy, lay leaders and environmental supporters. The experience will be centered on learning, connecting, and networking around environmental and sustainability issues.

We are pleased to invite you to be a part of our 5th Annual Green The Church Summit. This year’s theme ‘The State of The Black Church’ focuses on a call to action for the Black Church.  This free 3-day Summit will include a Sunday worship service, and a series of workshops and seminars to empower church leadership and lay people to develop practical solutions to economic and environmental issues in the Black community.
