You’re Invited to Livermore Lab on August 6th!

Please join us on August 6th for a March and Rally at Livermore Lab to speak out against nuclear weapons as well as commemorate the U.S atomic bombings that took place at Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
The rally will begin at 8:00 AM and will feature music, speakers, art and more. There is free parking at the event site.
  • Daniel Ellsberg will deliver the keynote address. Ellsberg is the military analyst and whistleblower who shone a bright light on U.S. policy and helped end the Vietnam War when he released the Pentagon Papers.
  • Nobuaki Hanaoka, an atomic bomb survivor, will be the rally’s special guest speaker.
  • Rafael Jesus Gonzales, the first poet-laureate of Berkeley, and Marylia Kelley of Tri-Valley CAREs will also be featured speakers.
  • Our new director, Andrew Kodama, will be serving as one of the co-hosts of the rally, alongside Peninsula Peace Center executive director, Julia Malakiman
Participants will gather at the northwest corner of the Livermore nuclear weapons laboratory (Vasco Road and Patterson Pass Road in Livermore).
