Blessing of the Fleet Interfaith Sunday Service

| FreeSan Francisco Fleet Week presents a “Blessing of the Fleet” Interfaith Service to be held Sunday, October 13th from 10:00 – 11:00 am at the historic Presidio Chapel. Our service will fall upon the 243rd Birthday of the United States Navy and as we celebrate this important day we will welcome, honor, and offer a blessing for our visiting military personnel during Fleet Week 2019.
Our service, coordinated by the Interfaith Center at the Presidio, the San Francisco Interfaith Council, and the Marin Navy League, welcomes representatives from all faith traditions to come together in prayer and gratitude. Chaplains from the Fleet and faith leaders from San Francisco will lead the service as we are joined by uniformed personnel from our visiting services, Veteran community members, and representatives from San Francisco’s many faith traditions.
