GALA PROCEEDS will fund the comprehensive work of supporting Yezidi redemption.

YEZIDIS ARE TARGETED FOR GENOCIDE. Yezidis are indigenous to Northern Iraq and are targeted for annihilation. Thousands have been murdered, with bodies buried in mass graves or thrown down wells. Fathers have been beheaded in front of their children. Women and young girls were enslaved in sexual slavery. and half remain in slavery. Hundreds of children are orphaned and thousands of boys have been kidnapped and forced to train as child soldiers and to fight against minorities, including their own people.

Yezidis have been persecuted since the 15th century, causing their numbers to dwindle from 24 million to less than 1 million due to torture, forced conversion, and murder. The  present Yezidi genocide has been recognized by the U.S. House of Representatives, European Union, European Council, U.N. Human Rights Council, Yad VaShem Holocaust Memorial and the Combat Genocide Association.
